I've only been playing for about a year and I was looking for some cheap clubs to learn with. They seem pretty good so far. I like that you can get a steel and graphite option. I've been playing with them for two months about once per week.I'll update laterJust got these in the mail TODAY. Went and played 9 holes. These things didn’t even make it to hole 4. The heads came flying off on the PW, 8 iron and 9 iron. What junk! Do not waste your time or money on these clubs. Just save up a little more for a name brand set that will last you a lifetime.Would have been nice to know these clubs are not standard length, picture shows standard length five iron to longer MacGregor club, would not have ordered if listed in description. The shaft length options. Genius. Cannot wait for my delivery to arrive and compare them. 6’2”So, let’s just say I’m not convinced yet as looks can be deceiving. But I bought these simply because of value. I’m currently on the injured reserve list, otherwise I would have run immediately to the range and give them a go. I currently have a set of Nike Pro Combo Japanese spec Stiff flex graphites. But as I am almost 66 I thought let me try moving down to a Regular flex graphite. But I’m not about to go for $1200 and if I hate these clubs I can still hit my Nikes OK. So it was as you see a practical decision I could live with if they really suck. But so far, examining the heads, shafts and grips, everything seems really nice. In just holding and addressing and light indoor swings they feel well balanced and I love the rubber grips even though I have mid size on my Nikes, I’m going to give these standards a try before I decide to regrip. I normally play about 54 to 72 holes a week when healthy so in about 2 weeks or so I’ll complete this review. But as I said so far, I am not disappointed.UPDATE 7/6/22: Doctor gave me all clear yesterday so just went out immediately and played 27 holes with these. Though I never got to use my 7iron, I did use every other club at least once. And let me say, I am way impressed!! Seriously. I’m not going to attest to more loft as advertised but I was definitely hitting longer and did not lose an iota of accuracy. I hit the 4 iron out of the first cut rough on the longest par 4 on the course. Now I’m 66 years old and drive traveled about 225 leaving me about 200 yards to hole. If I were on the fairway I may have used my 5 wood but being in nice soft grass about 1.5 inches tall, I chose to play conservative and hopefully lay up in a nice spot 25 yards out and take my usual 3 strokes to the green on this challenging hole. So I reach for the 4iron. I hit it squarely and at first was very disappointed I only got about 20-25 feet loft at the apex. Thinking I was going to land it about 125 down the fairway, I was surprised to see it continue airborne approximately 165-175 and then grab the fairway turf and roll right on to the green leaving me about a 18-20 foot birdie putt directly in front of the pin. Now I missed the putt but that was the first time I ever, ever parred this hole let alone hit my 4iron 200+ yards. Every other club provided in the set performed equally as well. Swear to Buddha! The only negative and I can’t even 100% blame these clubs ( but I will see over time) is I was using the 5 iron to hit out of a fairway bunker. Now these are not sand bunkers but look more like construction site dirt, sand and rock mix. So after hitting ferociously out of that mess, I noticed a tiny little nick at the bottom of the face near the toe. I can’t for certain say it chipped due to poor quality or hitting a stone full force with any club would have done the same damage. But we will see. But so far I give these irons TWO THUMBS UP! FIVE STARS! I Am So Happy.I purchased RH, Reg. Flex, Graphite.
