Mode 1 for measuring vertical elevation and straight line distance, hold measure button to scan. Mode 2 for golf slope compensation, hold to scan from far to near to lock the flag and trigger vibration.

Bought this for disc golf. Been using it for a couple weeks now and I like it. Works well, haven’t needed to recharge the battery yet.The case is nice, has a quick release cover with a bungie hooked around a metal peg so it’s easy to access when clipped to my cart. There is also a zipper to fully close the case when stored.I don’t have any issue getting readings on baskets, trees, or even the ground when I need to. I haven’t used the alternate slope length mode much. I like the standard distance to target with elevation difference to user.I use it only in feet mode and I would say that the accuracy is plus or minus 3 feet as advertised.Minor nuisance is that usb-c female port is not perfectly aligned with the hole in the plastic so it was a minor nuisance to get the usb-c male plug in the first time. But I haven’t needed to charge it since the first time so it’s probably not a big deal.
